Unique to Bournemouth this year and the Pier Theatre, in celebration of its fifty years, St Thomas Garnet’s Catholic Independent School will be presenting, ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’…taking place in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz, frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess. Loosely based on the 1960's film, the show includes lots of new songs and bright dance numbers.  

As well as the pure excitement, enjoyment, fun and theatre experience Director, Mr. Zachary Higgins, teacher at the school hopes the venture will be a wonderful way to raise funds for a new Astro-Turf, artificial grass, multi-sports pitch.
